Calling SCOUTS SA Senior Scouts, Rovers, and Young Leaders! World Scouting recently launched their new Life Leaders initiative as part of the Scouts for SDGs programme. The initiative is all about building essential life skills, empowering youth with practical competencies to boost employability, and to inspire positive change in our communities.
The Life Leaders programme includes what they call the “Impact Innovators Challenge”. It is designed to ignite the creativity and innovation skills of young people implementing community service initiatives as part of their Scouting journey.
SCOUTS South Africa is looking for 10 passionate individuals to lead and implement impactful community projects. Are you planning a service project with your Patrol or Crew, or perhaps your First Class, Springbok or BP Service Project? Apply, and if selected, you could receive some funding towards making it a reality.

Training Dates:
- You will need to join 4 online sessions (4 hours): 28 February, 1 March, 2 March, and possibly 3 March.
- Attend one In-person session (Date TBC, all costs covered including travel)
Project Deadline: November 2025 (Partial funding may be available to support your project costs)
