Dear Scouting members,

It is with great optimism and pride that I share with you our SCOUTS South Africa Growth Strategy for 2025–2028.

This Strategic Plan 2025-2028 infographic outlines the key priorities that will guide our Movement over the next three years as we work to strengthen our organization, expand our reach, and ensure that more young people across our country have the opportunity to experience the life-changing adventure of Scouting!

Our goals are purposefully ambitious. South Africa needs resilient, compassionate, confident young people now more than ever. By growing our membership, supporting our volunteers, improving programme quality, and deepening our impact in communities, we could ensure that thousands more children and teens can benefit from the Scout Method, learn essential skills, and contribute to creating a better world.

But success depends on all of us. Every Scout, adult volunteer, partner, and supporter plays a vital role. When we work together in living our values, sharing our strengths, and reaching out to new communities, we can unlock the full potential of our Scouting impact.

Let’s approach this strategy with unity, purpose, and enthusiasm. Together, we can grow Scouting across South Africa so that even more young people may Be Prepared and Ready for Life.
